What To Bring

For PC Gamers:Your PC - make sure it will run the games smoothly and that everything is up to date as far as your software, games and anti-virus are concerned. Note, we do not use a wireless network, so you will need to have a 10/100 Network card installed in your PC and your network cable (Cat5 ethernet cable). Don’t forget your keyboard, mouse and mousepad if you use one.

Power Strip/Surge Protector - you only need one for your own PC. We will be providing the main power strips for you to plug into.

Monitor - As player space is at a premium, size limit on monitors is 19″ screens.

Headset - no speakers allowed, so make sure you have a good headset with mic.

Games, Patches, Drivers and Operating Systems - bring your games, patches, drivers and operating sytem discs. You probably won’t need your re-install discs, but it’s better to be prepared than not.

Xbox 360 Players:

In General:

Food & Drink - there will be some food and drink available at the LAN; some will be free, some will not. You can bring in some drinks and snacks if you wish, but leave the coolers at home, and the same with any alcohol. Digital Storm is a drug and alcohol-free zone, and anyone found to be bringing any in will have it confiscated. There are also many fast food restaurants in the immediate area of the event facility.

Money - For food, drink and possible other treasures you may find for sale at the LAN.

Sleeping Bag & Pillow - We won’t be providing any sleeping bags, pillows, blankets or teddy bears, so you will need to bring your own.

Toiletries and A Change Of Clothes - this is entirely up to you, but remember you’ll be at the LAN for 48 hours. You may be a rabid gamer, but do you want to look (and smell) like a rabid gamer on the prize podium?

Camera - LANs provide many interesting photographic opportunities, plus we’d love to post your shots in the 2008 gallery for everyone to enjoy.

Your Sense of Humour - Remember, you’re at the LAN to have fun, frag with your clan, and make some new friends. A sense of humour will go a long way to making this an enjoyable weekend for everyone. These are just games, if you find your stress level getting near the combustion point, it might be time to take a break from the action.
