Great events need great sponsors.
The photos from Digital Storm 2008 have been posted in the Gallery.
There are two separate albums - one for gaming and one for Mendella’s performance. If anyone else has any photos that they would like to share, please send them on over and we’ll add them to the albums.

We are very pleased to announce that author and New York Post journalist Michael Kane and his publisher Penguin Books, will be sending autographed copies of his brand new book, Game Boys: Professional Videogaming’s Rise from the Basement to the Big Time to be given away in a special draw.
I have read this book, and without revealing my in-progress review of Game Boys, I can easily say that any serious gamer - and perhaps a few parents of gamers - will enjoy the story as it unfolds. You will be surprised about the things you will learn when reading this book, and I guarantee you will find yourself chuckling to yourself. Game Boys takes a close look at the professional gaming industry - and Mr. Kane freely admits this - from a newcomer’s point of view. At first he scoffed at us, now I think it’s pretty safe to say he is a convert. He’s come over to the dark side, and he understands those of us who take our gaming seriously. Now if only our parents did.
Check out the Game Boys group on FaceBook to talk with Michael Kane and learn more about this great book.

We are very pleased to announce that Argus Cameras has become a Digital Storm sponsor, and will be providing some very nifty and high quality cameras which some lucky (and skilled) gamers will be going home with after the Storm is over.
The first Argus camera, known as the Model A, was manufactured in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1936. It was an immediate success as the first low-cost, easy-to-use 35mm film camera in the world. Thirty thousand cameras were sold in the first week at $12.50 each!
Argus products now include a wide variety of digital imaging cameras and video products. Today, Argus continues its long tradition in the industry and is proud to present the newest members of the Argus family, the QC8340 8MP and the very cool Bean series.
